Kalahari San Bushman shows his Leopard Tortoise shell that's filled with a mixture of tobacco and herbs. As he burns it off ceremonially, clan members inhale the smoke individually and move into a state of trance. As the substances begin to take effect in concert with the dancing and chanting, their trance deepens and they take on the spirituality of a male lion.
