Size does not matter

Bigger the piece, the more it costs. True. But there’s more to consider than just size.

Tangible investments are easy to measure – camera gear, editing software, maintenance, printing and outlay for the trip to create the image. But the true value of a masterpiece derives from the intangible.

Yeeaarrrssss of learning, creating, struggling, experimenting and refining ones’ skill with unwavering focus and passion. Intangible is that photographer’s eye who sees what no one else does and creates signature images unique to them alone. Intangible is how that photographer’s image looks and makes you feel what no one else can.

Thus, one price. Because the time and craftsmanship poured into a masterpiece is the same regardless of size. 

Authentic & not limited

Every photograph is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity. And they are not limited for authentic reasons, no pun intended.

The concept of limited edition is legit. It originated from the world of art printmaking where the original was a printing plate and therefore, one-of-a-kind. Limitations were driven by mediums used to print the art which resulted in degradation with each successive print. Thus, limited.

Such limitations are a thing of the past. To apply the concept of limited edition to digital photography is a bunch of hocus-pocus! Photographers conjure up arbitrary numbers from thin air and impose a limit on their prints when there is none. It’s a strategy to invoke artificial scarcity to generate demand. Without much questioning, it’s become the norm. It appeals to our psyche. And it works. It’s also manipulative.  

And lastly, it’s inherently restrictive. Doesn’t that defeat the essence of art?

These choices matter, for even an award-winning image can look unflattering when printed on the wrong material. Easily an overwhelming and paralyzing experience.

As an artist who cares deeply, Asha has painstakingly gone through this arduous process for you, so you don’t have to. Artwork is offered in Chromaluxe®; high quality medium that best brings to life her creations in a stunning way. The only decision you need to make is whether you prefer matte or gloss!

Essential Tidbits

Please allow up to two weeks to fulfill your order plus one week for delivery (via FedEx). You will be notified if there are any significant changes to this. Please be aware that during festive seasons our production team gets quite busy and your order may take a little longer than usual.

We share your excitement!!! So please handle the unboxing with care. Avoid running a box-cutter randomly across the box, as this may damage the piece. Instead, gently cut within the crease of the taped edges for a safe and smooth opening experience.

ChromaLuxe® metal prints are easy to clean. Use a lint-free cloth and any gentle household cleaner. Spray directly on the print and wipe as needed. Easy Peasy!

Cleaning Steps:

      1. Select a cloth: You can use any cloth as long as you don’t use it to wipe down other surfaces. However, lint-free fabrics work best.
      2. Choose a cleaner: Use any glass cleaner or all-purpose cleaner you like, including those that disinfect surfaces. Do NOT use harsh solvents.
      3. Spray & wipe: Just like you would with a window, spray the cleaner and wipe the metal print clean.

Important – Never use a strong solvent or industrial-strength cleaner. They won’t ruin the artwork immediately. But after repeated uses, it will start to degrade the image quality.

If you prefer to pay via Zelle or bank transfer, even better. Saves on unnecessary fees to the establishment. Send a note to share your preference. Happy days!

Prints are made to order, and as such, we are unable to offer returns or exchanges. Digital prints, although rarely available, cannot be returned for obvious reasons. All sales are final.

Each print goes through a meticulous 10-point quality control check before it is packaged and shipped.

Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity. This certificate ensures your print is an original. Please store it in a safe place.

In the rare event that your art piece arrives damaged in transit (and this can be proven before opening), we’ll replace it upon receiving the damaged piece back.

Please notify us within 7 days of receiving your order and include photos or video of the damage. A return label will be issued free of charge, and the damaged piece should be returned within 10 days from when the label was issued. Your damaged piece will be replaced with a new one as soon as possible.

Asha values the individual preferences of her collectors. While accommodating custom requests, it’s essential to maintain the high standards and artistic integrity that define her work. Here are some types of custom requests she’s happy to consider –

Choice of Print Medium: If you prefer canvas, acrylic or a print, the choice is yours at no extra cost.

Custom Size: If you’re looking to tailor the artwork to fit your space with a specific size request, that should be do-able. Additional costs may apply, depending on the size.

Color Preferences: Love a particular image but wish it were in black and white, or vice versa? Such requests may be accommodated at extra cost.

Subject Preferences: Have a favorite animal or an area of the world that resonates with you? Asha can explore her portfolio for additional images not made public.

Feel free to reach out with your custom requests, and Asha will do her best to bring your vision to life while preserving the essence of her artistry. Please note that all custom requests are subject to artist’s discretion to ensure the quality and integrity of her artistry.

Asha was born in India, raised in Oman, and lived in London before settling in the U.S. Her multi-continent, multi-cultural, global experience was a clear predecessor that fed her insatiable curiosity – and the inspiration for her defining Twizted voice.

As a rare breed, she’s truly mastered the art of metamorphosis in body, mind and soul. In her first adult incarnation she graduated Magna Cum Laude from ASU and pursued a vibrant career in the hospitality industry. Then, she grew new wings. Ever intrepid and intrigued by the unknown, she launched and helped grow a thriving e-Commerce technology company with her business partner, proving herself as an entrepreneur and demonstrating both the skills and resolve required of a woman intent on succeeding in a male-dominated industry.

In 2014, she boldly stepped into uncharted territories again, starting a new venture, Twizted Myrtle, in pursuit of her undeniable thirst to confront and create consequential social change. Few understood why she would leave behind a burgeoning e-Commerce business that served marquee clients like Amazon, Samsonite, Viacom, Pokémon, Red Bull, Taylor Swift and other household names – all during the pinnacle of a successful career.

The impetus for leaving the traditional business world for a less conventional path was intensely personal; a deafening voice and inimitable force inside her told Asha that she needed to contribute to the world in a very personal and life-changing way. Asha found herself in the throes of depression and new depths of loneliness. She was acutely aware her “success” was empty. Like many, she had lost her soul in the daily grind of chasing unhappiness.

Ironically, during this time, her depression revealed spiritual clarity; it connected her to the struggles of others who face the same suffocating walls of relenting darkness. Photography became a sacred respite that unleashed a strident voice; like a caged tiger set free, she could never again return to the confined existence dictated by society.

Twizted Myrtle became the multi-pronged platform to confront social issues that we’ve been plagued with for centuries. To break free from these vicious circles, she challenges what we accept, without question, as “wisdom,” and our conventional way of thinking through artistic means – provocative writings, thought-jarring podcasts and captivating photography.

Bringing a refreshing curiosity with the unique empathy of a true global citizen, she speaks with an open mind and unfiltered honesty on a host of issues where most would fear to tread. Her work compels us to see and think differently to help unlock our mindsets from self-imposed limitations. In doing so, she seeks to help people break free from the invisible chains that enslave us as oblivious prisoners.
